Is this course internationally accredited?

No. Humanitas Training is not accredited by the South African Qualifications Authority (SAQA), and therefore the Humanitas Counselling Course is not a registered SAQA/NQF‐level qualification. On successful completion, you will receive a Certificate of Completion reflecting the training received and 220 supervised practical hours. How is the theoretical training conducted?

Live sessions over 4 weeks – attended either in-person at our campuses or live online via video conference – covering various modules like Basics of Counselling, Attachment & Childhood Development, Crisis Management, and more. Classes are from Mondays to Fridays from 09h00-15h30.

Will I leave the Humanitas course with a qualification?

No, Humanitas is not a formal educational institution. You will receive a Certificate of Completion upon completing the Humanitas Counselling Course. This certificate acknowledges your practical experience and successful fulfilment of the course requirements. The course also enables you to register with the ASCHP (Association for Supportive Counsellors and Holistic Practitioners)
