Judy dos Santos is a registered social worker with over 30 years of experience in the fields of trauma, mental health, and wellness. For more than two decades, she has cultivated a thriving private practice, working extensively with individuals, families, and groups through Employee Wellness Programs and private counselling. Her professional journey has been defined by a deep passion for helping people heal, grow, and reconnect with their inner strength.
Judy brings a calm, attuned, and client-centered presence to her work—whether in the therapy room, a training space, or during practical support sessions. Her approach is grounded in a range of therapeutic modalities, with a particular emphasis on trauma-informed care. She has completed extensive training in trauma recovery, polyvagal theory, solution-focused brief therapy, cognitive-behavioral therapy, play therapy, grief and bereavement, emotional abuse, and PTSD, among many others.
As part of the Humanitas Trauma Specialisation, Judy serves in a supportive capacity during the somatic practical modules, working alongside Dr. Barbara Wade.
In addition to her clinical work, Judy has contributed to national radio and TV broadcasts, facilitated wellness and trauma training workshops, and continues to advocate for mental health and emotional well-being in both personal and professional spheres.
