Life is sometimes hard and at times it’s difficult to find one’s way. However, I believe that we all have the ability to grow and change and to live meaningful lives. “Sometimes you have to travel a long way to find what is near” (Paulo Coelho). Counselling is challenging, but here you will find a safe, accepting, compassionate and supportive space to ‘be’ in.

I am passionate about mental well-being and work collaboratively with primary school children, teenagers, young adults, adults, the elderly, and couples.

Currently, I offer after-hours counselling Mondays to Thursdays between 16h30 and 20h30, in both English and Afrikaans.

I am also passionate about learning. I have e.g. a Hons Degree in Psychology (Counselling) (cum laude) (UNISA) and a Masters Degree in Information Science (University of Pretoria).

Nature inspires me.

My services comprise counselling, providing support, guidance, skills training, and psycho-education to assist clients in managing their life situations. (My counselling approach is person-centred.) In addition, I do not make any diagnosis. Should any concerns arise that fall outside my **scope of practice, I will refer clients to the relevant professionals or organisations who can offer the appropriate assistance.

Disclaimer: Please be advised that I am not a psychologist, psychiatrist, or registered counsellor at the HPCSA. Instead, I am a Specialist Wellness Counsellor registered with the Association for Supportive Counsellors and Holistic Practitioners (ASCHP). In addition, I counsel only within the **scope of practice as per the ASCHP and adhere to the code of ethics, standards, and rules and regulations of the ASCHP.
