My name is Michelle Coetzee. I studied a BA in Psychology and languages at NWU Potchefstroom, thereafter I completed my PGCE and started working in the education field with high school students. I have recently completed my honours in Psychology with my thesis focussing on GBV preventative interventions in SA. I am bilingual and fluent in both English and Afrikaans. I currently reside and work in Randburg, Johannesburg. I have a passion for working with teenagers and supporting victims of abuse, especially GBV. I am currently utilising my skills within a small high school setting, and I work very closely with teenagers who have struggled in their journey through adolescence, for various reasons. My goal is to help people navigate through these challenges and make them feel that they have the support and resources to enable them to be the most authentic versions of themselves. I hope to assist people in seeing their true worth and value in life while processing hardships in a non-judgmental safe space.
