Michelle Gleimius

Hello there My name is Michelle Barnard. I am a dance teacher living in Cape Town specializing in Ballroom Dancing. The birth of my baby last year made me realised that I want to learn more about people and how we cope with our daily lives. This realisation motivated me to enroll at Humanitas Counselling Centre to further my knowledge in the field of counselling. I received my Honours Degree in Psychology in 2012 but decided at the time to explore the wonderful world of dance. I have learnt in my years as a dance teacher that having a creative outlet can be hugely beneficial to one’s overall sense of well-being and I would like to incorporate dancing in my counselling methods one day.
