Hi There!
You are probably considering how counselling might be able to help you or, more specifically, how I can help you.
I am a Specialist Wellness Counsellor- Intern, and a registered Psychologist (IOP), with a Master’s degree in Psychology (Cum Laude), and I am committed to working within a prescribed ethical framework.
The Counselling relationship is built on trust, and as a counsellor it is my job to provide you with a safe, confidential space to explore challenging thoughts and feelings, and to empower you, for your own unique life story - finding the courage to face your deepest fears, the willingness to be open to change, and curiosity to discover new ways of doing and being.
I am committed to helping my clients find a way of working through whatever issues are troubling them. You may also be wondering if I know enough and have enough experience to be able to help you. I am trained within the areas of Trauma counselling, Crisis Management, Substance abuse and Addictions, Loss and Grief, and Adult survivors of Childhood Sexual abuse.
I am trained to listen and reflect with you, providing a safe environment in which to explore any issues, everyday life events, mental health, emotional difficulties and anything you wish to talk about. My counselling sessions will provide a shared non-judgemental space to explore and/or work through your concerns.
If you feel we would be able to work together, please contact me and I will reply within 24 hours (working hours).
