Life is challenging and it is easy to feel that we are facing these challenges alone. We are taught from a young age to keep our emotions, our inner thoughts, and our vulnerable experiences private. When we keep things inside, we can become disconnected from the world and from ourselves. I hope to offer you a space where you can connect with these parts of yourself and heal from past wounds. My goal is to equip you with the tools that will allow you to, not only endure, but thrive.


 I am confident that we will be able to take on any of the challenges that your life may present as we walk this journey together.


As a WITS graduate my practicing foundations are within the humanistic and psychodynamic approaches. I encourage collaboration within our sessions while also taking unconscious processes into account. My scope of practice includes cognitive behavioural therapy (CBT), solutions-focused therapy, human centred therapy, existential therapy & Gestalt therapy. My primary goal as a counsellor is to create insight and for this reason, I favour an introspective approach to counselling. Through this method I can provide you with the knowledge and tools that will allow you to better understand yourself and navigate the world around you.


Counselling does not exist in a vacuum. I will take careful consideration of your unique circumstances and cater your sessions accordingly. My education and background make me uniquely suited to handle social matters concerning identity, culture, sexuality, and gender.
