Play is not just fun and games; it's the language of healing and growth. My name is Joanél Kruger, and I am a dedicated and compassionate play therapist, who is committed to guiding individuals of all ages towards greater emotional well-being and resilience.

With my expertise and warmth, clients embark on a profound exploration of their inner worlds, using play as the language of healing. With a background in human physiology, psychology and human genetics I am able to bring a wealth of knowledge and insight to every session, ensuring that each client feels seen, heard, and supported on their path to healing. I have completed multiple training courses with Humanitas, the University of Pretoria and SACAP and I am currently busy to continue my academic career in Play Based Interventions. I love working with kids and have equiped myself with expert training in assessments with FACT Network and OPTIMA School Readiness Assessments. I am currently registered with the ASCHP (reg nr WC23/2024) and run my own private practice called Pure Hearts Play Therapy and Counsellling located in Witbank, Mpumalanga.
