Hi! I'm Jamie!

I believe that when we practice compassion, we can support the people around us.

This means that, within the counselling space I will approach you with openness and understanding. This will allow for the exploration of your personal experiences and the creation of a non-judgmental environment, filled with acceptance and empathy. In this space you will always be acknowledged, and recognize that you deserve to be seen, heard and cared for within a safe space.

I work from a systems approach- wherein various counseling techniques are utilized (specifically, the person-centered technique). I am also trained in Applied Behavioral Analysis (ABA) for neurodiverse children.

I hold a BSocSci (Honours) in Psychology and a Masters in Community Mental Health Promotion. I am also a listed specialist wellness counsellor with the ASCHP (Association for Supportive Counsellors and Holistic Practitioners). This I achieved through the Humanitas Counselling course.
