Hazel Lebaka

Specialist Wellness Counsellor

My name is Hazel Lebaka married with a family.

We live in a society with social issues. People are struggling to deal with mental health and life challenges, is it not overwhelming?.

All this motivated my studies. I completed my honours degree in Psychology in 2016 with UNISA. I completed my training as a confident counsellor at Humanitas Counselling center. Currently I am a Specialist Wellnes Counsellor practicing as Humanitas counselling Professional under  Humanitas Counseling Centre.

I have more exposure to individuals who experienced traumatic events from my 32yrs nursing background. My Christian background also gives boldness in my counselling journey.

I believe people need to be heard and not judged. They have great potential to resolve their problems if a condusive environment is created for them to express their thoughts and emotions. Remember, " greater is He that is in you than the one who is in the world" 1John 4:4.

Being emphathic caring and calm,I am passionate to facilitate my clients in this journey of dealing with their pain.

"You can't go back and change the beginning, but you can start where you are and change the ending." C S Lewis.

" if you change the way you look at things, the things you look at change." Wyne Dyer.

" You are the author of your own story. If you don't like where this chapter is going, it's ok to start a new one,' we  all need a reminder that it's never too late for a fresh start' @ Britando.

With these quotes I believe every individual has the potential inside to modify what they feel, think and perceive as a threat in their present and future.

My counseling is open to young adults, adults, individuals, couples, grieving and trauma.
