Welcome! I am Caitlin Claase, a Specialist Wellness Counsellor at Humanitas. I have obtained a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology and Communications, an Honours in Psychology, and a registration with the Association for Supportive Counsellors and Holistic Practitioners (ASCHP). I have always been drawn to providing a safe space for individuals facing different challenges, and I am incredibly passionate about helping and encouraging others by exercising understanding, compassion, and empathy.
I believe that counselling possesses the potential to enhance one’s overall wellbeing, while simultaneously driving healing, understanding, self-love, and self-discovery. Although it may be daunting and unfamiliar, a counselling journey further holds the potential to open doors to the discovery of new ideas, perspectives and opportunities that can flourish into stronger relationships, healthful habits, effective coping skills, beneficial decisions, and ever-improving mind-sets.
My approach to counselling is rooted in creating a safe and non-judgmental space where you can freely express yourself and explore your concerns. My mission is to support you in achieving a state of overall wellness, where your mind, body, and spirit are in harmony. Afterall, the importance of mental and emotional health cannot be overstated, and I personally consider it to be just as important as breathing!
