Bradley Bloem

Hi, I'm Bradley, an intern specialist wellness counsellor at Humanitas! My goal in life is to lend a helping hand to those who need it - life is not something we can do all on our own. I have a BSSc honours degree in psychology, and posses a driven need to uplift the mental well-being of others in my own personal journey in life. The bravest thing we can do is seek out help when we need it most, and those first few steps in doing so are the most important. 

In addition to my passions surrounding mental health, I am also a swimming coach and teach swimmers from 3 years old to adults. I am socially and emotionally apt to engage with various individuals of varying ages, backgrounds and personalities.

It is therefore, that I am able to work with trauma, grief and loss, adult survivors of child sexual abuse, teens and minors, suicidal individuals, those invovled in sport and/or are high level athletes, and varying others. Non-judgement, empathy, trust, patience and care are all facets that I hold at a high standard, and freely express in the world around me.
