Kate Henderson

Welcome!

I am Kate Henderson. I completed my honours degree in psychology in 2025.

Starting, or continuing, your mental health journey takes courage. It can feel vulnerable, uncertain, and even overwhelming at times. I want to acknowledge that simply being here, considering support, is already a meaningful step toward healing and growth.

I believe we all need, at different moments in our lives, a space where we can be fully ourselves without fear of judgement. My aim is to create that space for you — a calm, compassionate environment where your voice is heard, your experiences are valued, and your story matters. I believe deeply in each person’s capacity for self-understanding and empowerment. Working from a person-centred approach, I believe you know yourself best; my role is to walk alongside you with compassion and curiosity, offering a listening ear, and practical tools to help you navigate life’s challenges.

Life can sometimes feel heavy or uncertain, and it’s easy to slip into survival mode. Together, we can create space for reflection, healing, and growth, so that you can move toward living more fully, with resilience and self-compassion.
